Alexa Ikeler will be entering her 9th season in the NHL starting with the 24-25 season this fall. During her time in the NHL, Alexa has spent time with the New Jersey Devils as an Associate Producer and the Philadelphia Flyers as their Manager of Game Presentation before accepting the Director of Game Presentation position with the Washington Capitals.
Over the course of her career Alexa has been a part of NHL retirement Ceremonies for NHL Hall of Famer Martin Brodeur and future Hall of Famer Patrik Elias in addition to the NHL Draft, Stanley Cup Playoffs, and Player Hometown series. Two seasons ago Alexa also oversaw Alex Ovechkin’s ceremony for becoming 2nd all-time on the NHL’s goals scored list.
In her current role Alexa leads all aspects of Game Day Presentation including the control room, main video-boards, LED’s, scoreboards and event day execution while developing the team entertainment assets. She also oversees the production of entertainment elements (videos, graphics, projection, lighting, audio, and live elements) to support the overall presentation. In addition, Alexa also oversees the Washington Capitals in-arena promotional team, stage managers, and in-arena hosts. It is her job to continue to create a first-class entertainment for Fans that walk into the arena on a nightly basis.
